Six firefighting teams battled flames early Sunday evening at a carpentry shop in Rishon Lezion.

Firefighters reportedly were able to get the blaze under control within a short period of time, according to Walla! News. No physical injuries were reported in the fire. The cause of the blaze is not yet clear.

Israel Railways announced Sunday evening that service between Hadera and Binyamina has resumed, pending approval by Israeli security forces.

Rail service had been interrupted earlier in the day due to a fire in Pardes Hanna in the late afternoon hours.

A brush fire also broke out in the afternoon hours in Jerusalem’s French Hill neighborhood as well but was also later brought under control.
