But Hezbollah operatives have long since been embedded within the army. The group maintains an entire parliamentary faction. It also holds a significant number of seats in the government cabinet. It’s there.

Any military or financial transactions conducted by Lebanon with other nations are carried out under the watchful gaze of the terrorist organization. It’s a sure bet that some arms are allocated to the group as well.

Including those received from the United States of America, sent most recently for use in fighting against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terror organization.

For “defense of the nation,” of course.
