Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas can stop worrying now. His “13-year-old Ahmed” – the young teen terrorist who tried to slaughter two Israelis this week — appears to be quickly returning to health at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem.

In a statement Thursday referring to an incendiary speech by Abbas from his office in the PA capital city of Ramallah, the prime minister’s bureau said, “Abu Mazen’s comments last night were incitement and lies.

“The youth he is talking about is alive and hospitalized in Hadassah Hospital after he stabbed an Israeli youth who was riding a bicycle at the time.

“While Israel maintains the status quo on the Temple Mount, Abu Mazen, with his words of incitement, makes cynical use of religion and thus brings about terrorism.”

The young terrorist, meanwhile, is quickly returning to health, as is seen in a photo released by the prime minister’s office.

The hospital itself is also making an effort to disprove the lies by Abbas that Israel “executes Palestinian children.” Although this particular “child” nearly succeeded in executing an innocent boy even younger than him, he himself is recovering nicely, thank-you-very-much, in an Israeli hospital with up-to-the-minute medical care, the hospital explains.

“Hadassah Hospital wishes to inform the public that, in stark contrast to circulating rumors, the 13 year-old boy who attacked civilians … in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Ze’ev was hospitalized at Hadassah University Hospital. His condition is stable and he is fully conscious.”

In the video footage filmed at the hospital, readers can see a nearly-healed, eating and drinking 13-year-old Ahmed Manasra — who stabbed and critically wounded a boy two months shy of his 13th birthday and a man age 25 — thus disputing the claim by Abbas that he was “executed.”

Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center stated Thursday afternoon that Manasra’s condition is improving and that he will be released from the hospital in the next few days.

The condition of his victims – including the witnesses permanently traumatized by the attack they watched unfold – is not as clear.
