UPDATE: Hospital Will Not Release Yehuda Glick on Sunday

Update: The doctors at Shaarei Tzezek will not be releasing Yehudah Glick on Sunday as previously planned. On Friday, the doctors decided to run some additional medical treatments on him.


Shaarei Tzedek Hospital officials said that Rabbi Yehuda Glick will be able to go home Sunday following his miraculous recovery from gunshot wounds at the hands of a Jerusalem Arab who tried to assassinate him last month.

The chief rabbis of Jerusalem and of Israel visited Glick this past week, challenging themselves in the art of diplomacy considering their interpretation of Jewish law that Jews are prohibited from visiting – let alone praying – on the Temple Mount.

Rabbi Glick is the leading activist to encourage Jews to listen to the rulings of a growing number of national religious rabbis who have stated there is no problem with visiting certain areas of the site that covers the ruins of the First and Second Temples.

All rabbis agree that it is forbidden to walk in certain area, such as where the Holy of Holies once stood and where only the High Priest was allowed to enter once a year, on Yom Kippur.

Jerusalem Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Aryeh Stern visited Glick in Thursday. Despite his opposition to Jews visiting the Temple Mount, he tactfully said, “It is with the help of God that He wants your words, and your intentions are in the name of God, and that is most important.”

Glick to told Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi David Lau earlier this week that the Jerusalem Arab who shot him first told him, “I am sorry. But you are an enemy of Al Aqsa” and then pumped four bullets into his chest, one of them puncturing a lung.

It is not surprising that Sephardi Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef did not visit Glick. Rabbi Yosef last week was not satisfied with reiterating the Haredi stand that Jews aren’t allowed to visit the Temple Mount. He went to the extreme of disgracing himself by labeling rabbis who permit visits as “fourth-rate” rabbis.

Doctors at Shaarei Tzedek will hold a press conference on Sunday before Glick goes home to continue his recovery, which he will not consider complete until he returns to the Temple Mount. Of courses, no one will allow him to pray there because Muslims are afraid that God may hear his prayers,

The idiots don’t know that God also hears a silent prayer.

 

Who Is Worse – Arafat or Abbas?

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Tuesday, the 10th anniversary of the death of Yasser Arafat, that Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas is even worse than his predecessor.

“There is no difference between Arafat and Abu Mazen [Abbas],” he said. “Both of them hate Jews and believe in terror. The only difference is that Abu Mazen is more dangerous because he knows much better how to mask his true face.”

Lieberman put on the finishing touches Wednesday morning when he told Israel that Abbas also is worse than Hamas.

Abbas said in his speech on Tuesday commemorating Arafat that Israel is “contaminating” the Temple Mount. He even had the chutzpah to declare that Christians would never recognize eastern Jerusalem as part of the capital of Jerusalem.

International media have published so much propaganda against Israel that they have virtually erased from history the era of the Jordanian occupation, when Christians, as well as Jews, were barred from all holy sites under Jordanian rule.

Abbas’ outright incitement in his speech included praise for Muslim “heroes” at the Temple Mount who “have the right to defend themselves,” referring to Jews who “attack” by setting foot on the holy site, where they are barred from praying by the Muslim authority.

Abbas apparently fears that Jews might have prayers in mind, and that certainly is dangerous to Allah.

His incendiary speech fired up Lieberman, who is not a fan of Jews parading to the Temple Mount but who also is not too big on diplomatic charades.

He tore into Abbas Wednesday morning and said that he is an “illegitimate” leader of the Palestinian Authority because he has stayed in office for five years beyond the date for new elections.

Abbas “does not respect agreements and does not want peace but instead promotes terror.” He added, “His incitement is more dangerous than that of Hamas.”

Lieberman reiterated his previous suggestion that riot-plagued areas of Israel, such as the Triangle region between Netanya and Kfar Sava, and the Wadi Ara area around the Arab city of Umm el-Fahm to the north, could be part of a new Arab country.

“Once everything is made clear, the rioters certainly would be happy to live in a Palestinian state where they can enjoy freedom of speech, democracy, welfare assistance and unemployment insurance,” Lieberman said with enough bitter sarcasm that could turn honey into sour milk.

So is Abbas really worse than Arafat?

With all due apologies for throwing in a contradictory comparison with the Biblical Noach, the only difference between them is a generation.

The Torah cites Noach as a righteous mean, and Torah sages point out that he was a righteous man for his generation but certainly could not be compared with Abraham, ten generations later. However, each one was righteous in his generation.

Arafat terrorized Israel when ISIS did not exist, when even some Israelis on the center-right believed there could be some kind of compromise with the Palestinian Authority, and when the world had not yet realized that it was on the eve of a radical Islamic revolution and an Iran that seeks nuclear weapons to threaten the world with an Islamic universe or nuclear destruction.

Arafat was a terrorist when terrorism was appreciated by the world so long as it only killed Jews in Israel. He got away with wearing a pistol on his hip while talking about peace. He managed to turn the Nobel Peace prize into a mockery of truth.

Arafat set the stage for Abbas to put on a suit and tie, travel around the world to build up support for a “peace plan” that was a con game to set up Israel for destruction as a Jewish state.

ISIS Wants You – Dead [video]

The Islamic State’s latest propaganda video, entitle “A Message to US Allies,” warns you and your family of a future as slaves but also is great material for historians and psychologists who one day will use it to show how the ISIS is predicting its own future.

The video below is a Grade B production, complete with computerized graphics of mass destruction that the ISIS will befall the non-Muslim world.

It prophesies a virtual Sodom and Gomorrah for the West, but its underlying principle is a wish for death that supposedly will be “honored” through jihad in “this final campaign” that will “enslave your women, by the permission of Allah the Exalted.”

Unless the ISIS can bring in recruits in greater numbers than those who are being killed in battle, its threatened curse on you and me is destined to be on itself.

The Islamic State certainly cannot be taken for granted. It runs an empire built with ransom money, income from oil smuggling, organized crime and its increasing control over the Syrian economy.

It also finances a fantastic propaganda network.

Its latest video brags in English sub-titles, “You will pay the price when your economies collapse. You will pay the price when your sons are sent to wage war against us. You will pay the price as you are afraid of traveling to any land. Rather, you will pay the price on your streets, turning right and left, fearing the Muslims.”

That horrid threat is becoming the reality in Europe, where leaders are scared of the shadows when it comes to criticizing radical Muslim leaders because it’s too late. Europe has turned the other liberal cheek too far, and only a political revolution in elections, which might begin in France, might be able to stop the demographic tide.

The American-led coalition finally is doing to the ISIS what it was afraid to do ion Syria, and now that Turkey is just afraid of the Islamic State as anyone else, the fanatics of evil are destined to death, starting with its own economy that is built on lawlessness

The video continues, “You will pay the price when this crusade of yours collapses…They have not prepared for a battle since the time of Noah” – and let’s just say it is a twisted coincidence that Noah is Torah portion to be read this Shabbat – except with absolute conviction of victory.”

No radical Islam is kosher without a death wish, and the video does not disappoint.

“Being killed…is a victory… This is where the secret lies. You fight a people who can never be defeated…honor and life are through jihad and being killed….

“We promise by Allah’s permission that this campaign will be our final campaign except that this time will conquer your Rome, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah the Exalted. Our children and our grandchildren will ….sell your sons as slaves at the salve market.”

Police Finally Arrest Muslim for Provocation on Temple Mount

Police arrested a Muslim on Sunday for trying to stir up unrest on the Tempe Mount where a group of Jews was visiting.

A riot erupted after calls of incitement by the Arab.

Another Muslim was detained earlier in the day for similar reasons.

Police also arrested a Jew for incitement, of a different form – he dared to pray on the holy site. That kind of “incitement” is reserved for Muslims, who pray for the destruction of Jews among other blessings requested from Allah.

The Supreme Court has questioned whether the discrimination against prayers by Jews, judiciously enforced by the police, is legal, but no one has yet been able to bring the issue for the judges to decide.

It is obvious why Muslims don’t want Jews to pray on the Temple Mount, believing perhaps that God will pay more attention to Jewish prayers said there instead of elsewhere, such as in Psalms 92, verses 7-8:

“A boorish man does not know; neither does a fool understand this. When the wicked flourish like grass, and all workers of violence blossom, only to be destroyed to eternity.”

‘Moderate’ Malaysia: Sharia Police Hunt Down Christians who Say ‘Allah’

More interfaith dialogue and tolerance from savages. Muslim leadership constantly beat us about the head with demands for “interfaith dialogue.” They not only butcher people, they butcher language.

Imagine: devout Muslims are hunting down a Christian group for worshiping in their own mother language. The Malaysian government won’t authorize the construction of churches, so Christian groups rent or convert shop lots and warehouses to use as a place of worship. This group’s activity at a hotel was a private function, yet the (Muslim) morality police is going to hunt them down.

It is illegal for Christians to use the word Allah for god in Malaysia.

Why Christians would want to use the word Allah for god is beyond me. Allah bears no resemblance to Hashem or Jesus.

It might be Christmas Day cheer across the world but Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) officials are not feeling the festive occasion as they look for a Christian group that used the word “Allah” in their worship illegally last weekend.

Malay newspapers had reported that the Christian group had allegedly used “Allah” at their Sunday function at a hotel in Klang, reigniting the battle for the word which is now before the country’s apex court.

A Court of Appeal ruling decided that the home minister has the power to restrict use of the world.

The Government and religious authorities have not only gone to restrict Christians from using the word but have now started a campaign to outlaw Shia Islam in the country.

There are only some 1,500 Shias but the number cannot be independently verified.

In the latest case, deputy director of Jais Ahmad Zaki Arshad said they had yet to get proof that the Christian group had used the word “Allah” in their meeting.

“We are seeking the assistance of the hotel management to view footage of the closed-circuit television camera to check on the validity of the claim. We cannot act, based on a photograph in a newspaper,” Ahmad Zaki told The Malaysian Insider.

He said the department was seeking the cooperation of the event organisers to come forward to facilitate investigation.

“A photograph is insufficient evidence to act.”

Ahmad Zaki was referring to Utusan Malaysia’s report on Monday which carried a photograph of the event, with the words, “International Full Gospel Fellowship: Keluarga Allah satelit Nilai dan satelit Puchong, ‘Dari dalam gelap akan terbit terang’,” on a backdrop.

The department is investigating the case under a 1988 enactment which bars non-Muslims from using the word “Allah”.

The daily had reported that some 200 people had attended the gathering, organised by International Full Gospel Fellowship.

The report said those present sang songs containing the word “Allah”. Following this, two Muslim groups have called for action against a Christian group for allegedly using the word “Allah” at their function.

In their reaction, Pertubuhan Ikatan Kebajikan dan Dakwah Selangor (Ikddas) and Perkasa Selangor chapter urged Jais to investigate and act on the matter.

“From a legal perspective, it is clear the use of the word ‘Allah’ is prohibited to non-Muslims. If the organiser uses the sacred word in a non-Islamic function, then Jais should not hesitate to take action against them,” Ikddas president Rosdi Long told Utusan.

Selangor Perkasa chief Abu Bakar Yahya said it was inappropriate for non-Muslims to use the word, saying the Selangor sultan had issued a decree on the matter.

Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, who is also the Islamic religious head, recently called on non-Muslims in his state not to refer God as “Allah” and ordered that the word not be used in the Bible and in the Bahasa Malaysia section of Catholic weekly, Herald.

This, he said, was to avoid causing confusion among Muslims in Selangor.

On October 14, the Court of Appeal ruled to uphold the Home Ministry’s ban on Herald’s use of the word “Allah”. – December 25, 2013.

Jihad Tourism

For 20 years I studied and interviewed Islamist mujahedeen (jihad fighters) imprisoned in Israeli jails, examining their inner worlds and discovering the obsessive thoughts leading them to carry out terrorist attacks. They were addicted to fantasizing about an alternative reality, describing their compulsions in metaphors similar to those used by obsessive gamblers and drug addicts. They likened them to “worms” (duda in Arabic) burrowing into their brains and driving them to seek not another game of cards or a fix, but dead Israelis, Americans, Europeans, or anyone else they considered infidels. They did not try to resist their compulsions or consider that their actions might be wrong, because they felt completely controlled and manipulated by the concept of jihad, which dictated their behavior in every sphere of life.

The findings of my research indicated that the jihadists’ obsessions created what are known as “overvalued ideas,” that is, false or exaggerated beliefs sustained beyond reason or logic. One often repeated, was the vision of what awaited the shaheed (a martyr for the sake of Allah) in the Islamic paradise after death. The sensations of the release of tension and relaxation come only after the terrorist act, when the perpetrator looks at the people he murdered. Even suicide bombers whose explosive belts failed to detonate or who were arrested before they could carry out their missions described a transcendent sensation, a smile as they approached their targets.

They spoke of their inability to control their impulsive behavior, harmful to themselves and others.

They described the mujahed‘s [the jihad fighter’s] search for meaning in his life, how he turns his back on civilization and everything it represents. Many of them felt rejected by their immediate surroundings, either because of feelings of inferiority, marginality or guilt for things they had done (or not done) that brought dishonor to their families, or simply because they could not integrate into society as productive, contributing citizens. Those who had been exposed to Western society had strong feelings of inferiority, jealousy and rejection, especially because of differences in life styles, sex roles, confidence and other personal attributes. Some of them noted unbridgeable gaps between culture and science. One dispatcher of suicide bombers spoke of the great differences in capabilities, culture and economic condition between Christian and Muslim Arabs. For the mujahedeen, people are either good or bad, and that conceptual polarity directs their course.

Terrorists are also frustrated and alienated by those who rejected them, leading them to announce that as mujahedeen they “reject the rejecters.” A similar sensation has been noted in criminological studies as a criminal behavioral dynamic, and because the criminal is rejected by a normative society and cannot integrate into it, he declares war on it. Generally speaking, there is no psychopathology among Muslim terrorists. That is, none of them can be diagnosed as having a recognizable mental illness, even those who attempted to carry out suicide bombing attacks. What remains to be examined is whether or not there is a collective pathology, and if it is a question of a society, many of whose members find it difficult to suppress violence and control their urges and anger.

Jihad, a holy war against the infidel, is the personal duty of every Muslim, and if he does not wage it, he will die as a religious hypocrite, someone who only outwardly practices Islam but does not truly believe, and be damned for all eternity. The terrorists I interviewed told me that waging jihad is, for the mujahed, the way to partake of Allah’s mercy for themselves and the members of their families, and to go directly to paradise without the Islamic “tortures of the grave” and without undergoing a painful examination by angels before they are allowed to enter.

Exhilaration and ecstasy accompany jihad fighters in their search for arenas of excitement around the globe. They look for places where they can rape and kill with impunity and fight the infidel in the name of Allah, reaching the pinnacle of masculinity and honor reserved for the shaheed. Superficially, they may seem to be fighting for an ideal, but in reality, even in suicide bombing attacks, there is an element of desire for reward, both in this world and the next. The overwhelming desire of many Muslim adolescent boys, even those educated in the West or who are converts to Islam, especially those living in countries where there is no real governance, is excitement. To that end they stream into confrontation zones like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Chechnya, Libya, Iraq, Africa (such as the recent terrorist attack in Kenya), and Syria to experience the mission, the excitement and promise of being a shaheed as the ultimate in self-realization.

Frustration, alienation and a sense of inferiority accompany the increase in the pace of modern life, and the gap between East and West continually grows. The deprivation, restrictions and solutions imposed by Islamism lead people to seek a group to which they can belong and which will help them channel their negative feelings for the other, the different, the “infidel,” feelings which are common to all. In addition, the need for adventure and excitement has helped create a kind of “jihad tourism” especially but not exclusively relevant for young Muslim men, including those born in the West. Today in Syria there are jihadist fighters from 60 countries, among them converts to Islam, who star in videos and help the jihadists recruit supporters and spread propaganda. Jihad tourism is a subculture of fun and excitement, a festival of violence, similar to the Western criminal and gang subcultures. The jihadist lifestyle allows them to shake off the confines of the disintegrating patriarchal family. As opposed to ordinary criminals, whose social status is lowered when they are classified as felons, the Islamic terrorists feel they are performing good deeds for the sake of Allah, raising their status. They act on violent impulses, are unrestrained in their aggression and try to impress those around them by taking risks, hoping for admiration and praise. They butcher people of all ages, use both sarin gas and hatchets, behead, rape and mutilate their “enemies” with no regard for the fact that until recently the enemy was a neighbor, or at least shared their language and culture.

In their “extreme jihad journeys” they become accustomed to violence and atrocities, or as one of the men I interviewed said, “we find the smell of blood natural; even as young children we saw sheep being slaughtered in our yards.” In addition, they receive religious justification from various fatwas, religious edicts issued by sheikhs such as Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s religious authority. The jihad tourists live like wandering adventurers, generally finding it difficult to integrate into the mainstream of modern life. Instead they choose a path of murder and violence while embracing simplicity and even primitiveness. Having different aspirations, they do not have to compete with the West, seeking instead to destroy it while hoping to recreate the past in preference to joining the future. Before he was killed by the Americans, the terrorists I interviewed often praised Osama bin Laden and the simple life he lived in the caves of Tora Bora – an illusion, because bin Laden lived a life of relative comfort in Pakistan.

The waves of jihad tourism and terrorism targeting mainly Christians and Jews in the West have spun out of control and are not susceptible to the restraints of family, culture, religion or society. Violent jihad tourists are now overwhelming entire countries: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Syria. The atrocities currently being committed in Syria would not embarrass any legendary serial killer, and there are thousands of such jihad tourists there, Sunni and Shi’ite, and even Western converts to Islam, who torture and kill innocent civilians.

It is the high season for jihad tourism, and while the mujahedeen continue their activities in Iraq, the trendy watering hole is currently Syria, where Bashar al-Assad’s friends and foes alike indiscriminately slaughter innocents of all ages and sexes. They surf on waves of blood, and the operatives of the Al-Nusra Front, a group affiliated with Al-Qaeda, slaughter both members of the Assad regime and of secular rebel organizations who fighting the same regime.

The goal of Western educational systems is to provide the tools necessary for functioning in society. In the Islamic countries, however, children are taught from infancy that the family and clan are the foundations of their lives and dictate their behavior. Islamic society binds its members in chains, and the individual has no choice but to submit to group pressure. Drowning in blood and violence, his only justification is seeking the death of a shaheed.

And recent conflicts show that the West provides plenty of jihad tourists despite our education and opportunities. For some, especially converts to Islam, waging jihad in foreign lands can be exciting and revolutionary and a chance to prove the depth of their new devotion.

With all of this in mind, I would like to propose calling murder for the sake of Allah “shahadamania,” which might make it easier for the West to understand and fight the syndrome. It refers to the obsession for istishhad [martyrdom for the sake of Allah] and includes feelings of transcendence and euphoria after killing the infidel, the capitulation to instinct, the inability to function in daily life, and jihad as a good and even altruistic deed in this world to qualify for a hedonistic afterlife.

‘Islamic Emergency Defence’ aka UK Vigilante Sharia Mobs

 Muslims should have nothing to fear with Allah on their side and one should also remember that anyone that wishes to oppose the law of Allah i.e. Shariah and the final messenger Muhammad (peace be upon), whether in the East or West, can only expect humiliation in this life and the Hereafter.

A jihadist group, “Islamic Emergency Defence” (IED),  has set up a website and hotline in the UK for Muslims to to report non-Muslim initiatives and demos. Cloaking themselves with the fictional Muslim victimhood, the website sets up an alert system as an excuse to dispatch Muslim mobs  to create havoc and violence where counter jihadist and pro-freedom demos are taking place. Think of it as vigilante sharia militias.

slamic Emergency Defence is much more than just a think-tank. Our aim is to build a national network of Muslim volunteers who are ready and able to protect and defend any Muslim from verbal and physical abuse.

“We have already launched an emergency hotline that provides instant access for any Muslim to report an incident, which inshaa’allah will be resolved in a swift and Islamic manner; however, we cannot emphasise enough how much we need your support, particularly from the Muslim youth. As for those who are planning or who have committed anti-Muslim hate crimes they must know that their hooliganism will not be tolerated by the Muslim community…, and if the police and national government continue to stand by and do nothing, then Muslims must stand side by side to support each other.

We would like to remind all Muslims that to aid another Muslim facing aggression is an Islamic obligation, and that we will all be held accountable before Allah on the Day of Judgement if we sit by and do nothing.”

Ginning up the jihad rhetoric. Sounds like someone is itching for a war.

Remember the more incidents are reported the more we as a community can come together to confront the problem, and inshaa’allah eradicate it.
