Falafel Appeal

We again thank Jewish Press readers for their overwhelming response to our Erev Pesach Falafel Fund appeal. No fewer than 566 people partook of falafel, French fries, and drinks.

Please note that several “thank you” e-mails I sent to contributors bounced back to me. Any readers who gave me an e-mail address and didn’t receive my thank you response should know there’s a problem with that address.

Also, because a few checks came late, I applied them to Shavuos cheesecakes for these same poor families or toward end-of-year class trips for the children of some of those families.
