Even earlier, as far back as February 2003, Sharon warned visiting U.S. Congress members after the destruction of Iraq’s nuclear reactor that Iran, Syria and Libya should be stripped of all weapons of mass destruction.

“These are irresponsible states which must be disarmed of weapons of mass destruction and a successful American move in Iraq as a model will make that easier to achieve,” he said. “American action is of vital importance.”

If the free world does not want to be under the thumb of a fundamentalist Islam imposing its values on us all, there is no other solution,” said Sharon, other than to prevent such terrorists from getting their hands on weapons of mass destruction.

In other words, short-circuit Iran’s nuclear development program before Tehran is able to successfully reach the threshold stage for atomic military capability.

With or without negotiations alongside to make it nice and pretty.
