Report: Israel Spotted Iranian Boat with Rockets for Gaza

The Sunday Times reported that Israeli spy satellites detected an Iranian ship loaded with rockets. According to the report, intelligence experts estimated that the shipment was intended to reach Gaza through the Red Sea, Sudan and Egypt.

The cargo was prepared for loading last week, at the time when Israel and the Hamas were negotiating the ceasefire. Israeli intelligence believes that it will be delivered from Iran to Sudan.

“We believe that Iranian warships anchored in Eritrea will accompany the weapons ship as soon as it will enter the Red Sea,” an Israeli source told the Times.

yes, and since the ship is Iranian, then the cease fire does not really apply here…. especially since Iran has outright stated that it wishes to kill every Jew in the world….

  14. I fear that this "cease fire" is a farce and everybody knows it. I suspect that the US once again forced Israel to stand down knowing that it was not in Israel's best interest nut in Obama own political interest.

  19. Henri Korn says:

The trouble with Hamas in Gaza is only beginning. The future is bleak until terrorism is totally destroyed. The UN and the rest of the world will do nothing until it is too late. I am only repeating what everybody suspects.

  20. Contrary to being a surprise, this action is entirely expected. Part of the "same old – same old" that doesn't work and only buys time until WW3. It's time to shake things up by doing something surprising. Encourage Israel to incorporate the wisdom of its spiritual sages in its ongoing efforts to deal with Hamas humanely. Rav Kook was active in early efforts to establish a Jewish state. I found this wonderful quote in one of his articles — “The genuine movement of the Israeli soul at its grandest is expressed only by its sacred, eternal force, which flows within its spirit. It is that which has made it, is making it, and will make it still a nation that stands as a light unto nations, as redemption and salvation to the entire world for its own specific purpose, and for the global purposes, which are interlinked.”.

  21. Dave Prosser says:

Israel once lived according to a mutual guarantee between them, where each lived according to love thy friend as thyself in a mutual guarantee between them. This united them and only when they were willing to agree to this condition were they called Israel.

It is time again that they took up the mutual guarantee, the arvut. Why? Because the nation is not united, because external pressures increase in severity, and because the world is interconnected and interdependent.

Interconnected and interdependent? What does this have to do with Israel? When a world is in crisis and sees its troubles grow as a result of being interconnected and interdependent, because it fails to have relations which benefit this fundamental system of ties, it is necessary for mutual responsibility to be developed.

This is logical. If I am dependent upon you, and I harm you, then I am harmed in return. Israel then must once again fulfill there role, as the moral compass for the rest of the nations, by now uniting once again under the mutual guarantee.

By doing so they will act in a way which will influence the entire world.
