Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists opened fire Saturday afternoon at Israeli Border Guard Police forces near the PA city of Jenin, in Samaria.

The attackers fired at the forces from an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), according to a Hebrew-language report by Ynet.

At least one IDF vehicle was damaged in the attack, but none of the Israeli forces were physically injured.

The forces returned fire at the terrorists. A large IDF contingent arrived short after and launched a search for the attackers.

According to the report, there was also an attempted terrorist shooting attack on Saturday night.

Gunfire was aimed at an Israeli military vehicle on the road near the Arab village of Tel, in the area patrolled by the Samaria Regional Brigade.

No casualties were reported in the second attack, although a military vehicle was damaged.
