Arab Rioters Disrupt Jerusalem Light Festival Preparations

A few hundred Arabs disrupted preparations for the Jerusalem Light Festival near Sha’ar Shechem (Damascus Gate) on Wednesday evening, according to police.

The annual festival takes place throughout and around the entire Old City of Jerusalem, and is a very popular attraction.

The rioters tried to destroy the exhibits and threw rocks and bottles at the police guarding the area.

Police dispersed the rioters with riot gear and 3 Arabs were arrested.
