The 38-year-old victim miraculously sustained only mild wounds in the attack, which took place at the Ruth Checkpoint.

The terrorist, a 65-year-old Palestinian Authority woman, was neutralized and taken into custody by Israeli Border Guard Police at the scene. No gunfire was used.

This past Thursday PA terrorists shot and killed a 25-year-old Israeli husband and father in a drive-by shooting near the northern Samaria Jewish community of Homesh. Two other Israelis were also injured, including one who sustained moderate wounds.

IDF soldiers and security personnel are continuing to search for the perpetrators, who escaped.

Earlier this month an Israeli woman was injured in a terror stabbing attack that took place in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shimon HaTzaddik, known in Arabic as Sheikh Jarrah.

Around the same time, an Israeli man was stabbed and seriously wounded at the Damascus Gate to the Old City of Jerusalem.
