First Lieutenant Dan Nadel, a 94 year old resident of Jerusalem, will be honored by family and friends on Sunday November 16th, when a Sefer Torah will be dedicated to the IDF in honor of his bravery in World War Two, and for being the father of Israel’s seed industry.

Dan, a veteran of the US Combat Engineers corps, is delighted that the Torah will be going to the same unit in the IDF. The ceremony will take place at the Yishai base just outside Maale Adumim on Sunday afternoon. The ceremony is being organized by the International Young Israel Movement.
