A small 4.1 magnitude earthquake, shook Israel on Shabbat morning. The epicenter was in the Sinai.

The earthquake was felt from Eilat, all the way up to Beit Shemesh, past Jerusalem.

  1. If Israel indeed is sitting on a large 'fault', better described as an interface between 2 large tectonic plates, it most likely is in for some earthquake-jolting as these plates rub together. And if they do slip past each other, there will most likely be a massive dislocation of land masses/marks. Understandably, G-d gets angry at his creations, but He seems to usually work in more subtle ways, than merely hurling spears with lightening bolts or opening the earth to swallow whole clans!!!Fortunately, He most often gives adequate warning that "we" are not behaving in the ways He intended, so there is usually time to "Shape up" hopefully guaranteeing better outcomes.
