All those who stand with the State of Israel – and decency – must stand up today and say “Thank You, Nikki Haley.”

Thanks are due to the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for standing with history, logic, truth, heritage and reality, in noting that “America will put our embassy in Jerusalem,” adding that “no vote in the United Nations will make any difference on that.” She, of course is right.

While 128 nations voted against President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Ambassador Haley revealed herself as a lioness standing up for the state of Israel. To sit amongst so many people who hate you and speak truth in an unwavering voice isn’t easy. This woman with principles, who is centered and has convictions, deserves praise for being a light amongst the darkness at the United Nations. How refreshing it is to see someone with integrity, poise resolve and commitment to the truth.

As the late Abba Eban, Israel’s legendary Ambassador to the United Nations once said,

“If Algeria introduced a resolution declaring that the earth was flat and that Israel had flattened it, it would pass by a vote of 164 to 13 with 26 abstentions.”

As much as some things change, some stay the same. Yet, in this administration Israel is not forced to stand alone. Thank you President Donald Trump.  Thank you Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Thank you for recognizing that “The United Nations has long been a hostile place for the State of Israel. Thank you for recognizing that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the State of Israel, and thank you for standing with Israel. Thank you for standing up for what is right. May God Bless you and May God bless the United States of America.
