An Israeli drone that crashed in Lebanon -- the photo was snapped in July 2015 by the Lebanese Army and posted to its official website, showing the UAV that crashed in the northern port of Tripoli.

Lebanese Army officials say an Israeli drone crashed in the waters off Tripoli on Saturday.

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed at 8:30 am local time, according to a statement by a Lebanese military public affairs  spokesperson. No other details were provided.

Photos showed a Jewish star and Hebrew writing on the aircraft, which was basically intact although slightly damaged when removed from the water.

There was no comment from Israel.
