At 9:00 PM, Terrorists fired a number of rockets at southern Israel this evening. Should they hear any explosion or red alert, these residents should immediately enter a protected area and wait for further instructions.

At 7:30 PM, an anti-tank missile was fired at an IDF patrol along the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. Four soldiers were injured as a result.

In response, the IDF targeted several sites in the Gaza Strip.

IDF Spokesperson Yoav (Poly) Mordechai called the attack on IDF soldiers “very serious,” saying that “we hold Hamas responsible for this incident.”

The incident followed the explosion of a tunnel containing explosives on Thursday (November 8) during activity carried out by IDF forces in southern Gaza intended to locate terrorists’ explosives.

The Popular Resistance Committees said it had fired four rockets at communities close to the border and the towns of Sderot and Netivot in southern Israel, in what it called “the revenge invoice” for the deaths in Gaza.

“Revenge Invoice” is a loose translation of “Tag Mechir,” or price-tag, which has been used by Israeli youths in attacks on Arab and Arab-sympathizer property.
