Thousands of Arabs launched an attack at the northern Gaza border with Israel on Monday night near Zikkim beach, south of Ashkelon.

A number of attackers managed to breach the border and set fire to an IDF military post while others hurled explosives, burning tires, hand grenades, Molotov cocktails and rocks at Israeli soldiers.

They also hung up Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) flags.

Other terrorists recorded the events and uploaded the live video to Arab networks, streaming it on the internet. None of them showed the terrorists who torched an IDF military post near the security fence, however, according to the Hebrew-language ‘HaKol HaYehudi’ website.

Arab media reported that Israeli military forces opened fire at the attackers, wounding several, but the reports were not confirmed.

There has been no comment by the IDF.
