Israeli soldiers of the Duvdevan Unit search for Arab terror suspects in Shechem (Nablus).

An IDF soldier serving in the Duvdevan unit was critically wounded Thursday morning in the Al-Amri refugee camp in the Ramallah area. According to the IDF Spokesperson, during an arrest of Arab terrorism suspects, a marble slab was dropped on the soldier, hitting his head and crushing his helmet. He was taken to hospital under artificial respiration.

The marble slab was dropped from the third floor of a building. The terrorist escaped, for now, according to IDF spokesperson Ronen Manelis.

The soldiers did not shoot at the terrorist as they couldn’t identify his exact location.
