This Israeli Arab is demonstrating in front of the Russian embassy, calling for the ouster of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad. The balloons he’s holding bear the image of the butcher from Damascus, with the slogan in Hebrew: Me’ifim et Assad.
The line translates as “Kicking Assad out,” but the verb used is “to fly,” as in making Assad fly out – hence the balloon.

It’s not a bad image for the final act in the life of a murderous despot, having him float lazily out his office window into the bright, blue sky.
Beats the peace dove thing.
