UNRWA Vs. Israel
Contrary to the general impression that spokesmen for UNRWA – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East – have tried to present, UNRWA has not been a neutral observer in the Arab-Israeli conflict for the last sixty-plus years but rather an outspoken supporter of the Palestinians.
In Gaza, UNRWA has been a major financial support for the building by Hamas and its predecessors of dual facilities, namely hospitals and schools used as hiding places for military equipment.
Even now, with mounting evidence that these buildings have been storehouses hiding rockets, mortars, and military equipment and therefore legitimate targets, UNRWA continues its propaganda campaign against Israel.
