Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert seen at the Jerusalem Supreme Court on December 29, 2015. The Supreme Court reduced Olmert’s sentence to 18 months, a year and a half after the District Court sentenced him to a six-year prison sentence following a conviction on corruption charges in the Holyland affair. Olmert was convicted of accepting bribes in return for facilitating the Holyland project in Jerusalem’s Bayit Vegan neighborhood when he was mayor of the city.
