Sa’ad Dawabsha, 32, the father of the baby killed in the Duma arson attack on July 31, succumbed to his wounds on Saturday, and died.
He was being treated at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, with burns on 80% of his body.
The mother, Riham, with burns on 90% of her body, and their 4-year-old son, Ahmed, remain in critical condition. Ahmed is now conscious and off the respirator.
They are being treated at the Tel Hashomer Medical Center.
Despite a lack of evidence, the generally consensus at this point is that Jewish extremists set the fire. There are apparently still no leads yet in finding the perpetrators, and no arrests have been made.
After the funeral for Sa’ad, which thousands of people attended, Arabs began throwing rocks and burning tires. Hamas flags were waved at the funeral.
The IDF is now preparing for a large-scale escalation of Arab attacks against Jews.
