Yishai Fleisher on Al Jazeera

OK, unfortunately you have to listen to Al Jazeera’s skewed bias and nonsense for a bit and a lot of ranting as well, and it is obviously unfair that the talking-time distribution is so uneven, but stay to the end and watch Yishai Fleisher not only mop the floor with them, but as his opponent goes apoplectic as he is unable to counter Yishai’s arguments.

My only disappointment is that they didn’t mention Yishai’s connection to JewishPress.com.

  1. Constructive criticism- Denis MacEoin comments on Jewish Press: “Well, Yishai does well and stays calm before the aggressive Hussam. But why didn’t he counter the accusation that Israel will not take part in talks by quoting verbatim from Article 13 of the Hamas Charter, where it is stated that peace talks, negotiations, international conferences and any form of compromise are ‘a waste of time’ and that the only solution to the Palestine problem is jihad?
When attacked on the blockade, why on earth didn’t he say that it’s a lie that Gazans have been starved of all necessities because Israel has been sending in truckloads of food, medicines and other necessities (and luxuries)?
And why didn’t he add that the blockade is legal under international law because it seeks to deny access to a recognized terrorist group to arms shipments?” Everyone should learn from this for our own battles.

  2. They speak of “disproportionate”. Why is it only referred to death? How many rockets does Hamas fire into Israel? How many rockets is Israel firing back? Is it Israel’s fault the rockets mostly miss the Jewish targets? Israel has no way of determining how many people will die as a result of defending itself nor should they have to apologize for their right to exist. Good job, Yishai for pointing out the land belongs to the Jews as it is written in the Quran!
