Tea Party Preacher’s ‘False Religion’ Remark Upsets Jews

“Non-Christians Have a False Religion" but the Jews are an exception, says a Virginia Tea Party preacher-candidate in a splendid show of how to put your foot in your mouth.
E.W. Jackson Jr.

E.W. Jackson Jr.

Most interesting is that 13 percent of white voters have a favorable view of Jackson, compared with only 9 percent of black voters.

The white voters presumably are not homosexual, Jews, members of the Ku Klux Klan, Buddhists and Muslims. The blacks are likely the remnants of what is left of tehe Tea Party in Virginia.

About the Author: Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu is a graduate in journalism and economics from The George Washington University. He has worked as a cub reporter in rural Virginia and as senior copy editor for major Canadian metropolitan dailies. Tzvi wrote for Arutz Sheva for several years before joining the Jewish Press.

  1. I think the real issue here is not that he’s a jesus freak nut bag but that he turns to pander voters of any group save a very few when he thinks he’ll get their votes that way. If he wants to be an ass it’s his business. If he’s shucking voters to get a high position beware. (As if they all didn’t.)

  2. Roy Neal Grissom says:

Oh my goodness, someone thinks his religion is true. And Judaism as well. But he doesn't throw Voltaire's cloak over every religion in the world and "Jews" are upset. Because we all know how solicitous the Torah is of other "gxds!" People should read Sefer Yehoshu`a some time and grow up!

  3. Roy Neal Grissom says:

Ugh! I have no idea why that multi-posted like it did! If I knew how to fix it I would. My apologies to all.

  4. I think Bishop E W Jackson is a good guy. The problem is that he has a problem talking to people outside his faith group. People outside his faith group also have trouble understanding him. Rav Ovadia zt"l and Rav Shach zt"l (lehavdil) had that problem but they did not themselves run for office. This guy is and perhaps he is making a mistake. I am convinced that he would, if elected, be fair to all, but I doubt he will get the chance. If I lived in VA I might well vote for him.

  5. I'm not getting the article. A Christian who believes Jesus Christ.. wow! Such controversy. Not getting it. Does freedom of religion still exist in America?

  6. Anna Karp says:

With so many problems this country has it is so sad that we as a jewish group are worried about whether a Christian minister believes in Christ. Wake up America I wonder if the jews in Europe worried about these things as they were going into the crematories.

  7. Chaiya Eitan says:

    Twisting himself like a pretzel.

  8. Cody Flecker says:

Islam is a false religion. A so called religion based on war, and based on the extermination of all those that do not believe in Allah, or any other Moon God. When I see Islam begin to treat woman as equals, or treat believers of other faiths as equals, I will give them equal status as a true religion, up and til that time, they are an out caste sect.

  9. Dolores A. Brittain says:

the bible is very clear that all Jews and Christians shall be saved in the end. This man simply told the truth, and so persecution will come because of that. People are so used to being lied to, and believing it that they cant even discern a the truth from a lie, and without the Holy Spirit imparted in your life, you wont.

  10. This is the first time frame in history where we have so many end times prophecies occurring at the same time. Earthquakes in diverse places, wars and rumors of wars, starvation, illnesses, and people traveling to and fro and knowledge increased. In just the last few decades man has started flying in mass. Our homes have pluming and heating, electric lights, cloths washers, dish washers, TV's and computers, and the BIG one,,, Israel is back as a nation. The rapture of the Church is on the verge of taking place. When that happens there will be no Christians in the world for a brief time and the antichrist will quickly take control of a new one world government. I wrote a book in 2012 that discusses salvation and prophecies written about in the Bible. It’s a short read and it’s totally free. I hope you will have a look: http://www.booksie.com/religion_and_spirituality/book/richard_b_barnes/after-the-rapture-whats-next

  11. the bible isnt very clear about anything written in it.

  12. how can you possibly have a false religion? No god of any religion or mythology in history has ever deigned to show its face to the world at large, therefore they are ALL up to the beliefs of the individual. With that, ALL religions are false religions.

  13. i think you might need to learn how to read. The Jews arent upset because hw believes in Christ. They are upset because he said what they believe is a lie.
