“Write Spirit” Contest Winners

We are delighted to announce the winners in the “Write Spirit” competition, a collaboration of The Orthodox Women’s Chaplaincy Network and The Jewish Press:

 

1st ($180)  “The Wounded Healer,” Talia Weisberg (Harvard College)

2nd  ($100)  “Comforting Elijah,” Eliana Yashgur  (Hebrew High School of New England)

3rd ($50)  “Shushan Listening Ear Psychologist,” Chayala Nachum (BYA High School)

 

Special mention goes to Sha’alvim for Women, Midreshet Harova, Netiv Aryeh and Block Yeshiva High School for numerous student entries of very high caliber.

Due to the volume of quality entries, the judges also selected several runners up: Talia Stern, Surie Worch and Zisse Hanfling.
