Students at Monroe College got a quick lesson in kosher from the Orthodox Union’s Rabbi Safran. These non-Jewish students are participating in a contest sponsored by Sonny & Joe’s Food.
Christchurch, New Zealand has gotten a kosher restaurant. The brainchild of Rabbi Mendy Goldstein and his wife Sara, they hope to cater to the over 30,000 Jews who either live in or visit this part of the world on an annual basis.
