Arabs from Azariya Arrested with Fireworks, Bullets, and for Damaging Water Infrastructure

On Sunday night, police stopped a suspicious looking Arab vehicle for inspection near the Maaleh Adumim junction heading towards Azariya, next to Jerualem.

In the vehicle they found 4 crates of fireworks and 200 9mm bullets.

During Arab riots in Jerusalem and on the Temple Mount, fireworks are launched at police and at Jewish-owned buildings.

The three passengers, residents of Azariya, were arrested.

On Friday morning, police received a call about a suspicious-acting Arab man on the side of the road between Maale Adumim and Keidar.

As the police approached, the man ran, and a foot chase began until they caught him.

Where the man had been standing, the police found welding tools, drills and other equipment.

The man had already damaged the water infrastructure by the time police got there, and he was attempting to damage an electric tower when they arrived.

The man was arrested. He is also from Azariya.

Young Arab Teens Confess to Attacking Border Guard Officers

Three young Arab teens were arrested Mondayin connection with a firebombing attack on Border Guard police officers near Jerusalem.

The wannabe teen terrorists were caught in the act following a covert investigation that saw the group hurling firebombs (Molotov cocktails) at Border Guard officers patrolling in the Jerusalem suburb of Abu Dis.

The teens, ages 13 and 14, live in Azaria, near the nearby city of Ma’ale Adumim. They confessed to the attacks during the investigation, and also admitted to involvement in other incidents as well.

Weapons, Ammo Seized Near Ma’ale Adumim

The guardians of Israel do not sleep . . .

Israeli security and police officers tracked down and seized weapons and ammunition in the Arab village of Azaria overnight, in the wee hours of Monday morning. The village is located next to Ma’ale Adumim, a large Jerusalem suburb.

Two unregistered guns with three cartridges and around two hundred 9mm bullets were discovered during the search carried out in a joint raid by Israeli intelligence personnel and Border Police, the 0404 website reported.

One suspect was arrested and taken into custody for questioning at the Ma’ale Adumim police station.
