Amir Darzi taped this perfect adaptation of Lennon’s “I don’t believe” (aka “God” on the Plastic Ono Band album) litany, applied to Israel’s election season last January. The imitation is perfect, the clips, edited by Moran Azulai, are also very 1970. In spots it really rings like a voice from beyond the grave commenting on Israel’s political parties (rejecting every last one of them, very a la Lennon).
Shoulda’ seen it back when it was released, January 15, 2013.
Have a good start of the week, folks, speak peace, carry a big stick, we’ll be all right.
