Israel’s spacecraft Beresheet has crashed into the moon at approximately 10:25 pm, April 11, 2019, 7 Nissan 5779.

There were problems with the main engine and communications with the spacecraft during landing.

Israel is the fourth country to reach the moon, even if it wasn’t in one piece.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel will try again. Netanyahu wants a whole Israeli spaceship on the moon within 2 years. [Editor: Maybe they’ll call the next ship “Shemot”]

It is an amazing achievement to have gotten this far.
