Mosquitoes infected with West Nile virus have been found by the Environmental Protection Office.

The problem was discovered during routine checks in three locations in Israel: in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Neve Yaakov, in the community of Taibe, near Sha’ar Ephraim, and at Nahal Poleg, south of Netanya.
