The court has postponed for three months the trial of Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on charges of fraud and breach of trust.
The trial, set to begin on July 19, has been adjourned by Justice Avital Chem at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court to October 7, it was announced Monday by the court administration.

The delay was approved “at the request of the state attorney’s office and the accused’s representative,” according to the announcement. No further details were made available.
The prime minister’s wife was charged last month with misusing state funds from 2010 to 2013 to purchase delivered meals for the official residence, “to the value of NIS 359,000.” Her husband has said the charges are “absurd.”
