Then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., second from right, speaks during a news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington, Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. Schiff is joined by, from left, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., House Oversight and Government Reform Committee acting chair Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel, D-N.Y.

In late November, an anti-Semitic preacher named Rick Wiles claimed that the effort to impeach President Trump was a “Jew coup.”

Obviously every right-thinking person realizes that no Jew trying to remove Trump from office is acting as a Jew. But lets look at the “optics” of the impeachment effort. The following key players in this political theater are Jewish:

Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Jerry Nadler, Rep. Eliot Engel, Senator Chuck Schumer, NSC staffer Alexander Vindman, Ambassador Gordon Sondland, Daniel Goldman, Pamela Karlan, Noah Feldman, Michael Gerhardt, Norm Eisen, and the latest two actors in this drama: Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, who just released a secret recording of a dinner they shared with President Trump in April 2018.

Jews who are easily identifiable as such are on the tip of the spear aimed at Trump’s heart. Why is this important? Why should we care if a bunch of assimilated leftist Jews are at the forefront of this impeachment saga? Because Americans care and because it speaks directly to the malaise of American Jewry.

By malaise, I mean that the majority of American Jews have replaced the millennia-old religion of their forefathers with liberalism and leftism. Oh, they’ve tried to give it all sorts of kosher symbols to cover it up – tikkun olam, etc. But once all the Jewish symbolism is removed, what you’re left with is the religion of leftism.

This is the new religion of the majority of American Jews. They have adopted it while overwhelmingly rejecting the unique and special covenant they have with G-d. They may believe that they are thereby reducing anti-Semitism, but religious Christian Americans actually resent them. They say to themselves, “The Jews have been given this tremendous gift of a special relationship with G-d – and they squander it. Not only do they squander it, but they side with the forces in the United States that hate religion and scorn those who practice it.”

Christian Americans see Jews heading entertainment outlets and non-profit organizations that denigrate traditional religious values on a constant basis. And that’s why an anti-Semitic preacher can claim the effort to remove Trump from office is a “Jew coup” – because it looks like one. I dare say he is articulating things that the average American is thinking yet is too polite to say out loud.

Millions upon millions of dollars have been thrown at non-Orthodox Jewish organizations to keep Jews Jewish. Their “success” can be seen in how many young Jews believe they are being “good Jews” by embracing liberalism and leftism. We have created a monster, and now we have to live with it. May Hashem have mercy upon us.
