IDF officer Lt. David Golovenchik, 22, from Efrat, was killed from a bullet that was accidentally discharged during a training exercise in Hebron on Tuesday night.
An investigation has been opened into the incident and all IDF training exercises have been cancelled on Thursday and will be replaced with safety courses.

Golovenchik is survived by his parents, his two brothers and two sisters.
