Palestinian Authority Arabs riot against IDF soldiers near Ramallah.

Palestinian Authority rioters attacked Israeli soldiers near Ramallah Thursday night, and Arab media claimed a 13-year-old was killed.

An IDF spokeswoman confirmed to The Jewish Press that soldiers dispersed rioters using standard riot-control procedures but that it has not yet been able to confirm the report of the death of the teenager.

The riot began with rock-throwing at soldiers, who then left the village but came under another attack of rocks and firebombs when their vehicle was forced to stop because of a malfunction.

The Bethlehem-based Ma’an News Agency identified the alleged victim as Bahaa Samir Badir, 13, who it said was shot in the chest “from close range.”

The IDF said the rioters posed a direct threat” to the lives of soldiers.

If the report is verified, it is bound to cause another round of anti-Israeli headlines in forcing media that the IDF kills children.

They seem to make a distinction between a 13-year-old and a 30-year-old who tries to kill soldiers.
