Knife found on female terrorist at Kiosk checkpoint - March 7, 2016

Israeli Border Guard Police officers foiled an Arab terror attack at the Kiosk checkpoint near Abu Dis on the outskirts of Jerusalem at about 5:30 pm Monday evening.

The Arab woman appeared suspicious when she approached the checkpoint wearing a backpack.

Security forces stopped the suspect and ordered her to throw the backpack on the ground. After searching the bag the forces found a large knife.

The would-be terrorist was immediately arrested. During initial questioning she admitted that she had come to the checkpoint intending to stab Israeli soldiers.

The suspect has been transferred to security personnel for further investigation.
