Balloon bomb (Merhavim)

Israel Police reported that a lovely cluster of colorful balloons landed in a community in the Merhavim region at around 8:30 pm, together with an improvised explosive device carefully tied to the festive “bouquet.”

The police arrived together with a professional sapper who proceeded to examine and then defuse the bomb that was attached to the balloons.

Merhavim is located north of Netivot and east of Sderot.
