Mr. O needs all the support he can muster and he's calling in his chips pressuring AIPAC to support him knowing full well that Israel says, "Leave us out of this!" Israel has been restrained from attacking Iran for five Obama years now making it far more difficult to destroy Iran's bomb making capacity.
Yori Yanover, you wrote"Not a Drudge regular, I cannot state this with absolute certainty, but I imagine the number of times this fine Mecca of right wing-slanted news reports has pointed to an article in The Nation Magazine….." So doesn't that statement invalid your argument and aren't you using the style of damning with faint praise innuendo found in "The Nation" article against the "Drudge Report"? Is the use of word Mecca, an sly attempt at irony, because everyone know those " Right Wingers" hate dem Mooslems!

From today's NYT:
On the day the president is speaking, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee plans to blanket Capitol Hill with 250 advocates, having already contacted dozens of lawmakers to urge them to support a strike.
Barack Hussein Obama, in his speech to the American people this coming week, might try to make this about Iran and protecting Israel but he has a track record in the region and a squalid one at that. Obama fought side by side al-Qaeda affiliated groups to depose secular-leaning dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Obama demanded American ally, former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak step down "immediately" February 2011 in order to make way for Muslim Brotherhood jihadists and Mohamed Morsi. In Syria it is the same. Obama is attempting to topple the autocratic minority Assad regime in favor of al-Qaeda, Muslim Brotherhood and extreme Salafi groups in Syria. Barack Obama is (intentionally or not) furthering the most extreme Islam throughout the region, all the while protecting Iran's nuclear sites from Israeli bombardment.
Thanks for this great message, well thought out and one which speaks for at least one Israeli – me. I don’t want the US to make a mess of things. Their track record under Obama is disastrous. Better they should stay out than mess in an internal civil war with no winning side. If it’s Iran they are worried about, they should attack Iran and its nuclear facilities, but stay out of Syria. AIPAC is wrong on this one; Jews will suffer for their involvement if the US does go to war with Syria, unless they wipe out both Syria and Iran at the same time – highly unlikely since Obama just wants to do a 3 day sortie. How can that accomplish anything other than broaden the conflict?

You all seem to have forgotten the 2012 Democratic National Convention when it took many votes each failing before one passed to support Israel and the Jewish People. Yet with all of this anti semitism, over 72% of the Jewish electorate voted for Obama and the Democratic Party. The Jews are their own worst enemy, so quoted a famous Nazi…that statement is really true.
since the election of mr. obama not a day has passed that has not gotten worse. for Israel. and, America. the so-called presidency of an inept and clueless imbecile is one of the most significant ways great civilizations commit suicide.
You were too quick to criticize the Drudge Report while quoting the Marxist rag aka The Nation, it completely colors your commentary.
I support Israel and I oppose the U.S. attacking Syria at this time and I do not have any problem with AIPAC’s message.
Obama has not demonstrated that he has thought through an attack on Syria let alone indicated that he has any kind of a foreign policy at all.

Who cares? What shall be shall be! Jews will be alright God of Israel knows what to do and has an appointed time in doing so. So don't concern your self with what the Jews do or don't do God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob is what one should concern themselves with. I know the scoffers don't care about this type of messages. But it is what it is and has been from the time God chose the.

If it’s good for Israel, I like it.

Your ascribing any drop of supposed respectibility to this disgusting far-left always antisemitic hate site (The Nation) defies logic and rationality. Where have you been? Breathtaking and shocking.
