He was a serial killer, who murdered at least 22 people, one of whom was Jewish. He didn't specifically target Jews; he hated everybody. Labeling him as a "Jew-killer" is disingenuous. Is O.J. Simpson a "Jew-killer" because Ron Goldman was Jewish (assuming that O.J. even did it, which I have big doubts about)?

Franklin is on death row for the 1977 murder of Gerald Gordon outside a synagogue in St. Louis. It's all there.
By the way, Franklin was executed early this morning.

Dan actually when he killed Gerald Gordon he was attacking Jews. He looked up the synagogue that he attacked in the yellow pages before going there and specifically targeted it. Gerald Gordon was killed coming out from a bar mitzvah of the son of a friend of his. I know I work at the synagogue where it happened.
God said the person who shed's blood should have his blood shed, doesn't matter if Jewish, Gentile or what ever, hang the idiot high until dead and then bury him the same day. Once found to have committed the crime, should die the next day period and that would stop a lot of this crime. Swift justice, period.
He attacked every racial and ethic group, including his own (Larry Flynt).

As a convicted killer on death row he had a lot of time to think about his impending death. I am guessing that he died many deaths before being executed. At least his victims were spared that. His was the worse fate and he deserved it.
Jimmy Klaber was the Regional ADL Director at the time of the brutal murder of Gerald Gordon at Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel. Klaber worked tirelessly with law enforcement officials who were eventually able to formally charge Joseph Paul Franklin. Franklin was convicted of seven other murders, but the Missouri Gerald Gordon case was the only one resulting in a death sentence. Thank G-D for Jimmy Klaber!
