The Israeli Air Force (IAF) struck back at Lebanon, hitting a terrorist target near Beirut, Lebanon early Friday morning.

The IAF said all targets were hit, and the pilots returned home safely. There is no information on damage or casulties on the part of the enemy.

The strike was in response to the four rockets launched at Israel yesterday.

The Israeli government said it is holding the Lebanese government responsible, though Lebanese president denied involvment in the attack, and is reported to have said that the rocket attacks were a violation of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.

  3. Israel should not be bombing Lebanon. What gain can come out of this.

  4. Lebanon should not be sending missiles and bombs intending to harm innocent children and women. What could be gained out of this?

  5. Israel MUST respond to any provocation that puts Israeli lives in danger with the utmost severity.

If you have an unruly child who is never spanked, then he will never learn to stop doing what is wrong. In a similar way the terrorists will need to learn that Israel will never tolerate such attacks.

  7. Inna Kreer says:

Do you mean that Israel should not defend herself, just let her people die?

  8. Inna Kreer says:

Harris Freedman: You mean not to defend Israeli citizens, just let them die? Not to respond to attacks? What gain do you expect from accepting defeat?

Let the very mention of the Israeli Air Force put a lump in the throats of all the Ayrabs who would like t’ see Israel washed into the sea.

  14. In one night from evening to dawn, Damascus will be removed from being a city by God. Most people don’t know that Damascus Syria has historically remained inhabited from the time of it’s founding until today. Despite military losses it has always been populated. YET ISAIAH 17 SAYS THAT GOD WILL TAKE IT AWAY FROM BEING A CITY. That’s a permanent statement by God, not a temporary one! That has not happened as of yet. What could cause that? God could do this any way that he wished to. One possibility is if Syria attacks Israel with WMD’s the only way to stop it soon enough to save the nation would likely be a nuclear strike on Damascus and possibly other targets as well. If God chooses to use mans weapons of mass destruction as one of the tools to bring that about then today’s news concerning Assad should get you interested enough to take a longer look at Isaiah 17. I’m not saying it is “without question”, but without question it looks like it is VERY LIKELY. In addition Iran continues determined in it’s march in the development of nuclear weapons. Current intelligence seems uncertain of when Iran will get the bomb and Israel cannot afford to gamble with this. Yet here we are with the clock ticking. In July of 2012 I wrote a small book that lists some of what the Bible says will happen in the end times as well as what will happen during the period known as the seven (360 day) year tribulation and other soon to take place events. I don’t accept donations and it’s free. It’s about 6 or 7 pages, so it’s a short read. I encourage you to have a look: http://www.booksie.com/religion_and_spirituality/book/richard_b_barnes/after-the-rapture-whats-next.

  15. if it was your house that was bombed, then I would then say don`t respond :) What gain can come out of that.
