The three Israeli teens who were apparently kidnapped late Thursday evening from outside Gush Etzion by Palestinian Arab terrorists remain missing, as Israeli authorities continue round the clock searches and investigations in an effort to recover the boys.

A late breaking update by Israeli authorities includes the following information: a mobile phone of one the missing boys has been recovered. Also, the car apparently used for the kidnapping was found. In the car authorities recovered personal belongings of the teens.

The Chief Rabbis of Israel call on Jews worldwide to say tehillim, especially Chapter 121, for the three missing Israeli teens. The three teens are believed to have been kidnapped Thursday evening.

The names to recite are:

Eyal ben Iris Teshurah

Gilad Michael ben Bat Galim

Yaakov Naftali ben Rachel Devorah

Chief Rabbi David Lau published a ruling that all efforts involved in finding the boys is a matter of pikuach nefesh, risk to life, and therefore any and all activities necessary by the security forces are permitted on Shabbat.

Rabbi Lau added “I urge the public to pray for the missing boys and for the soldiers involved, adding a chapter of Tehillim (Psalms) for safety and security.

The Sephardic Chief Rabbi Amar urged all Jewish women to light an additional Shabbat candle and to pray for the safe return of the boys during candle lighting.

HaGaon Shalom Cohen has called for everyone to pray for the safety of the 3 boys and for the soldiers attempting to find them.

If the boys are not yet found by the end of Shabbat, there will be a massive prayer rally at the Kotel, starting at 10:30 p.m. at the Psalms Gate.

Please keep the following thoughts in mind: the teens missing are human beings, they are students, they are sons and friends. Most of the media, including Israeli media, insists on referring to them as “settlers.” In addition, the fact that the boys were believed to have been hitchhiking when they were kidnapped does not mean they “deserve” what happened. Genocidal terrorists kidnap human beings to use as bargaining chips. Those terrorists are the ones solely to blame.

Israel will never be safe until the Moslems are wiped off the fface of the earth, because their religion dictates that they kill all non-believers, including christians. they are making huge inroads in Europe, when will this end? unfortunately it does not matter that many moslems are peace loving, (hypothetically i am willing to postulate this), doesn't matter because the extremist are imposiing shaariah law in foreign countries, in school systems in Great Britain, does that not your hair stand on end. and in the US, they have in certain areas succeeded in making similar inroad. the Koran is vicious. everyone should read the Koran, and then all of the liberal intellectual jews, e.g. UWS Jews, should reconsider their position including the rabbis at BJ. Brain dead atavistic liberal jews. once being liberal was appropriate. Now it is gdf stupid and suicidal.

  32. Alla Waldman says:

  33. Patty Blesse says:

    I am praying

  34. Amy Katz says:

All of us with kids in yeshiva know our kids hitchhike. We all hope they take precautions. Our son has told us of one of those precautions, involving cellphones. From the news stories coming out, it seems that the boys did follow that precaution. But the police ignored it.
The terrorists did the deed. But the police who screwed up need to be reckoned with as well.

  35. Cindy Wolf says:

You are sick. Your base remarks show how low a level you live at; obviously no respect for life.

  36. Sarah Zerykier Caras says:

Yes, Brian. Yes I did. And I know a lot of other people-Jews-who did and who posted and petitioned and other acts of awareness and action. Although I do see your point that probay not as many Jews were praying for those little girls as they are for these boys. To this I will say that if it's family you feel it more and will be more inclined to do more. I'm sure you would feel the same way for your own family. And also, I don't see how your post is helpful in any way. Maybe you need to refocus your energies towards something helpful and positive instead of being mad that all people don't treat all tragedies as equal. That doesn't help these boys nor those 200+ girls

  37. Brian Twist, I have no idea what you are doing on this page. I imagine your Hamas friends told you to come on this page to impart your so-called hypocritical humanistic universal stance. If Arab children are caught and put in Jail it is because they are used to throw stones and have endangered the lives of Israelis. As unfortunate as this is, they are put up to this by your Hamas/Fatah friends who are cowards who love collateral damage in the form of innocent Arab children for media purposes. Don't give any of us your sanctimonious drivel about human rights go and preach to your Arab friends about their dismal treatment of their own women and children whom they use in their disgusting unjust war against Israel. It is time the Jews on this page fought back against the rubbish and lies the supporters of terror like Mr. Twist throw out. All they are doing is manipulating this horrific event of the kidnapping of these children by bringing in their own "poor Palestinian" agenda. Enough with their lies! Mr. Twist go and preach to Al Ahram and Al Ayyam. The Arabs are savages and barbarians who do not think twice about killing their own and the last thing murderers and kidnappers deserve is a state, maybe a barn!

  38. Rommel Siso says:

brian twist, you're having a twisted ideas about abduction…if you can provide any proof that these 3 young boys did any acts of lawlessness against anyone then we'd better change the word "detention" to "abduction" for your sake.

  39. Rommel Siso says:

…and by the way, Brian, to make you fully understand what this abduction is, you can visit in any muslim countries or maybe in our country, the Philippines (in Sulu, to make it precise)…it is not only happening in Hebron or in Israel but everywhere where your common friends are present.

  40. Rommel Siso says:

RAZ what i understand is collateral damage that had been inflected to the arabs were caused by making their children as HAMAS' shield…what about the katyusha rockets that are filled with metal balls to kill Israels and what about those stones thrown at the motorists regardless of who really is hit?

  41. Louis Gavin says:

Brian Twist I don't condone it, I contextualize it.Parents of detainees are informed and they have recourse to the courts. It is unacceptable, but it is immeasurably more humane than what passes for a legal system in the West Bank and Gaza, not to mention the hell on Earth in Syria and Iraq. Your indignation with regard to Israel heavily out weights your Indignation in relation to the true barbaric behavior taking place outside of Israel's borders. That too says a lot about you as a human being.

  42. Louis Gavin says:

Brian Twist You cannot separate the Israeli context 'Israeli Actions" from 'Palestinian' actions. Israel does not drag political opponents through the streets, throw them from the top of buildings or simply murder them. Similarly you cannot criticize Israel with regard to its treatment of Palestinians and remain silent with regard to Assad's treatment of about 120,000 Palestinians, who he is starving to death. You point out the leaking tap, but fail to see the the river running through the house .I'll say it again get some perspective. Do some research on the treatment of Palestinian children by Palestinians themselves. The daily brainwashing and incitement to hate Jews alone, is a crime against humanity …. and one of the major causes for the violence at the core of the 'detentions', which I understand, and condemn. I do not condone it.

  43. Rommel Siso says:

Brian Twist never in history and record books that Jews hid at the back of their children nor in anybody's as their shield. they fought so bravely since the day after Israel became a nation (again)…and if you'll say UN, it means composition of nations mostly of muslim nations…and it was once a controversy when one of the translators was overheard on her mic while telling about the bias treatment
of this organisation against Israel. Aren't you aware of that?
