Olmert in the past has been acquitted in the double-billing charges known as the RishonTours affair. He was acquitted on charges of receiving tens of thousands of dollars in cash from American Morris Talansky,

Olmert’s lawyers got him off the hook, and the former mayor of Jerusalem and Prime Minister of Israel also was acquitted on Monday of two other bribery charges.

Their client finally was hanged on other accusations of bribery. Hearings on sentencing will being towards the end of April.
