Israeli Ambassador-designate to the Czech Republic Daniel Meron presented his credentials on Wednesday at the Prague Castle to H.E. President Miloš Zeman.

Ambassador Meron replaced Gary Koren, who left in January after serving since 2013.

A year and a half ago, Meron served as the head of the UN & International Organizations Bureau at the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem.

He has served in the Israeli foreign service since 1987 and previously worked at Israeli embassies in the U.S., Norway and Cyprus.
