Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin by telephone, on Monday.

The two “discussed regional issues,” Netanyahu’s office stated.

The Kremlin’s press service reported that they discussed “pressing bilateral issues, including military contacts, and the situation in the Middle East region.”

Putin and Netanyahu last met in Moscow on February 27.

The two leaders talk to one another by phone on a frequent basis.
