Israeli protest in front of the Prime Minister's residence.

(JNi.media) An estimated ten thousand Israelis demonstrated Monday night in front of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem, to protest the recent Arab attacks across Israel, NRG reported. The protesters have conduct post-holiday celebrations, dancing in laps with Torah scrolls and waving Israeli flags. Meanwhile, some 300 protesters are rallying at the Beit Furik junction near Shechem, where they on Thursday Naama and Eitam Henkin were murdered by Arab terrorists.

Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria regional council, who has been demonstrating in front of Netanyahu’s residence since last week, told the rally crowd: “We have come here to shout Enough! Enough! We didn’t go to Obama or to the EU. We are here because the prime minister is in charge. What has gone on will not continue. We won’t let terrorism continue.” Dagan, who met earlier with Prime Minister Netanyahu, with whom he disagrees on the need to bolster the settlements, added: “We are tired of talking, we want action. We are standing here and demanding that Netanyahu give us security. We must pursue Israel’s enemies and strike terror infrastructures. We must establish new settlements in Judea and Samaria and add construction in Jerusalem. We must build a new settlement between Itamar and Elon Moreh (the site of the Henkin murder).”

Tourism Minister Yariv Levin, who spoke at the rally, defended Netanyahu from the harsh criticism against him: “I read on my way here this is a rally against the prime minister. I am sorry to disappoint those who had hoped it would be. We are here to strengthen the government to do the things we believe in. There is a clear, common thread between the terrorist incidents and the words of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. It is time to comprehend, and to us it was clear from the beginning, the Palestinian Authority is not the solution, it is the heart of the problem.” Levin added: “I am looking forward and hoping to hear tonight about the approval of a zoning plan that will help us defeat terrorism in the most Jewish way — through construction, renewal and growth.”

A resident of Yitzhar who attended with his family the rally near Beit Furik, told NRG: “Beit Furik it one of the villages that raised the largest number of murderers. We are going to show them that we are not afraid and we intend to remain in this country that is all ours. We also have a statement for the army. At the beginning of the evening the army asked us to do the post-holiday Hakafot-laps in a different place. So we’re going to make it clear to the army that we are not going to live in bunkers.”
