“Not even the war in Syria has produced such headlines,” he noted.

“The average European reader has incorporated the difference in coverage as a natural thing, as Israel being ‘different’ from the rest, and that the attacks against its citizens are something evidently justified. In this way, the Palestinians have become the archetypical victim.”
