Stolen car abandoned near Arab village in Gush Etzion

An Israeli Border Guard Police officer was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem late Tuesday night, where he’s listed in fair condition after he was hit by a stolen vehicle that raced through a checkpoint on the tunnel road on the southern outskirts of Jerusalem, leading to Gush Etzion.

The vehicle climbed on to the sidewalk and hit the police officer as it came through the checkpoint at high speed. It was later found by the IDF and Border Guard Police abandoned on the side of a road between the Arab villages of Al Khader and Battir.
