The US will hold bilateral talks with Iran in Geneva on Sunday. Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns will head up the delegation for the US in the talks.

The US is trying to reach an agreement with Iran on its nuclear weapons program so it can drop the economic sanctions against them. The P5+1 and Iran are facing a June 20 deadline when negotiations are supposed to end.

Iranian media reported that separate bilateral talks will be held with Russia on June 11-12.

Official negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 are supposed to restart on June 16.
