  1. Islam according to Koran and the Muslims has to be the only religion in the world so they systematically destroy anything that is not Islam no mater who is running the country,Jewish,Christian,Buddhism and so on for them should not exist and any prove from the past will be destroyed so we can’t prove anything, we have to stop them as soon as possible, this primitive people who have no respect for history.

  2. I am tempted to propose a liberal plan on the matter of retaliation: The Mosque on the Temple Mount is not in religious use anymore; it’s a weaponry store thus the Temple Mount is no longer accessible for Muslims. Second stage will be demolition of the Mosque. Announce the itinerary for the whole world so nobody is taken aback. Use the Russian model – it’s very efficient. E.U. is as impotent as ever. Russia will sympathize, China don’t give a dime, and Obama just wrinkle his hands. – And the Arabs they are busy killing each other.

  3. Can someone go and sift through the rubble to rescue the holy Torah and books so it can be repatriated to the Syrian Jewish communities around ther world since the Syrian infidels have no respect or need for it?

  4. Syrian leadership in government is mainly Islamic. Historical buildings representing Jews has no value to them. That is why it was destroyed. Buildings are one things and I sure hope no Jews or others were in it at the time of destruction. We carry ADONAI in our heart. The Eternal is with us always. What are buildings and stones compared to Him There is no comparison. Let us not forget that.

  5. Nolen, I just checked with the Jewish Code of Ethics and it is stated as this: Who is wise? One who foresees the consequences of his actions. Babylonian Talmud, Tamid 32a (Common Sense; A Moral Value, Not Just A Pragmatic One.) Would leveling Mecca with a nuke be a wise idea? Any comments on this whatsoever?

  6. Sandy, I am from the Tribe of Asher. We women were trained with bows and arrows with pretty good aim. Now our bows and arrows are words. Is the pen mightier than the sword? That is what I need to find out. 🙂

  7. Michelle, Israel will not take unplanned moves towards anyone. She is a master in diplomacy. I would not say that if it was not true. She is defending herself and her people for she stands alone. Which nation when it came down to it would really help her. Words are one thing but actions speak with a follow though. We have ADONAI and as ADONAI said not to put our trust and faith in mankind but to put our trust and faith in HIM.

  8. Yechiel, it that is not possible, they can be replaced for where I live one of the Chabad Centers needed the Torah Scrolls and a member of our community put together the money to have Israel make one for this Center. What a joyful day that was when it was brought over in person by a Jewish rabbi. G-D works in mysterious ways some days. Mysterious to us human beings at times.

  9. Cowards will always do evil things. Stand with Your God Almighty and He will give you strength to build the best prayer center and these Assads will come running for help.

  10. Rashi, those who read or hear about this sad event would be shocked and think to themselves, why do people do such cruel things. As to what they could do besides pray and offer empathy and compassion, I do not know right now. Let us see how the response comes in over time.

  11. If your plan was to work Kjeld, is there any possibility that they would just build another shrine on the Mount. I came to understand that the Pope of Rome feels empathy for the Muslims and feels that we Jews should learn to get along with them. Maybe the Pope should be appointed as the Ambassador of Good Will to the Muslims and see what he is able to accomplish on his own initiative. That will take the heat off of Israel for while while we work our own plan of action be it a book or a movie on `How The Temple Mount Was Won.“

  12. What about the breakfast treat called “Pigs in A Blanket.“ 🙂

Just could not resist it. You sparked my imagination Randy. with all the shenanigans going on we need to lighten up every now and then, don`t you think so?

  13. Moriah you are so right. We need to check the dates on the videos to see if the event is still going on. Good on you Moriah. You have the eye of an eagle.

  14. Judith Dowla — in all likelihood, there won’t be a response. In all fairness, the Eliahu HaNavi shul was not the only religious building destroyed. However, never mind the historical significance, it was one of the last remaining remnants of Jewish life in Syria which dates back to the times of the Beit HaMikdash and even earlier. The man took out a sefer gemara and showed it to the camera, the beautiful sifrei torah..all destroyed. Syrians have absolutely no respect for anything other than Islam.

  15. Judith Dowla WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR EXCUSES, WHAT EUROPE COULD OR MR. OBAMA. LET THEM TALK ISRAEL BELONG TO JEWISH PEOPLE, 2000 YRS ENOUGH FOR SUFFERING, IT'S TIME LIFT OUR HEAD AND HASHEM WILL HELP US. MOSHE DAYAN MADE GREAT MISTAKE 1967, THAT DOG HOUSE MUST BE DESTROYED AT THAT TIME. THAT CLOWN DIDN'T ALLOW TO BLOW IT UP. PLEASE DON'T TELL ME WE WEREN'T READY YET. WE NEED THAT TEMPLE MOUNT PERIOD, NO QUESTION ABOUT. JEWISH PEOPLE HAS TO BE OWNER IN THEY OWN COUNTRY, NOT FOREIGN PRESIDENTS.

  16. sounds prophetic….the city and sanctuary destoyed wonderfully? rite after the POPE entered the Holy land….42 mnths of war? the REAL original House of David!…how was it destroyed?

  17. No matter who did this will be severely punished, if it was Assad I don’t even want to imagine the horror he will go through anyway he’s doomed to burn in hell for the eternity for his crimes, and so will happen to all those who march against Israel. In the past the romans destroyed the “Bet ha Mikdash” from which today only remains “one wall”; that enormous empire fell short after, lately the imbecile of Chavez cursed Israel, didn’t even last two years after that, so now just wait and see…

  19. Miki, perhaps to provoke Israel or to indicate we have fire power too and can remove your buildings whenever we want to and we run Syria now, not you. Could be that kind of thinking or like you said it could have been an outside mercenary that did it too. Whatever it is, the results are the same. It has been blown to smithereens. Destroying buildings will not affect Israel as they are used to that going on throughout their history. Better a building then human life. I like the way you examine things. Thank you for sharing.

  20. Michael, are you speaking about the Second Jerusalem Temple that was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD when they burned it down and killed many Jews as well as drove all the Jews out of Jerusalem and most of Palestine? Or are you speaking of another time?

  21. Michael, the Key to the House of David is The Moshiach. He is the living Temple. Moshiach has been given the Keys to Heaven and Earth. Is that what you were asking? The physical tomb of David lies in Jerusalem and Pope Francis according to news reports was interested in managing it. Not sure what the managing consists of unless he meant sharing in the care of the tomb.

  22. Yes, Judith, it is a possibility that Iranian or HezbAllah troops blew up the synagogue, but I still think someone must have been shooting out of that building. Our beloved peace activists love to go inside mosques, too, and shoot at their enemies from there. Why would they respect the “dirty” Jews’ buildings?
