According to the IDF spokesperson, about 50 rocket launches from the Gaza Strip to Israeli territory have been detected by 9:10 AM Tuesday. The Iron Dome system intercepted about 20 launches.

A 35-year-old man was lightly injured by a rocket that fell at the Beer Tuvia Regional Council. MDA staff provided medical treatment on site.

A rocket fell on Highway 4 at the Shtulim Junction, southeast of Ashdod. Four were lightly injured from shrapnel.

A rocket fell near a home in Rishon LeZion, no one was hurt.

According to Walla News, following the escalation in the south, the IDF is starting to call up reserve forces for the defense of the Gaza Strip envelope.

Meanwhile, the terrorist factions in the Gaza Strip announced Tuesday morning that “the assassination crime will not go unpunished, the attempts of the ‘occupation’ to export its internal crises at the expense of Palestinian blood in favor of its own political agenda will not be permitted.”

The factions’ statement also said that “the return to the liquidation policy marks a red line and the occupation will bear full responsibility for the consequences.”
