The snowstorm’s delay of Kerry’s meeting with Netanyahu finally gives Abbas a chance to explain why Israel must not exist as a Jewish state.
Kerry arrived in Israel Thursday in the middle of a snowstorm.

Kerry arrived in Israel Thursday in the middle of a snowstorm.

Israeli Justice Minister and chief negotiator Tzipi Livni stated, “All issues, including the storm, are on the negotiating table, and we are close than ever to reaching and to the storm, for which I expect the Nobel Peace Prize.”

  1. Jamie Siever says:

Is there nothing he can’t blame on the Jews? He has a real talent!

  2. Yoni Fram says:

Typical Jewish Press article – Anybody else remember the headline “Israel Wins” and when it was?

  3. Rebeca Hosen says:

he knows Jewish prayers works better than us. why is he so worried about jews praying in Har HaBayit? because it works.

  4. Ken Figa says:

“There might even be peace, Allah forbid, one day.” That’s one hell of a quote from the article. It says it all!! Why are we wasting our time with peace talks if this is how abbas really feels? I hope abbas and is people can swim because with this attitude, one day, they will be pushed into the Mediterranean Sea.

  5. I can't even comment on this outrageous diatribe. Can this really be truth?

  6. This must be a satirical warm up for Purim

  7. Anonymous says:

If Abbas really believes this, then he should be afraid, VERY AFRAID. He at least as some sechel- now he needs to read the other part, where it says, Those who curse Israel shall be cursed.

  8. Another anti-semite. Hashem will help us.

  9. Shira Louis Yashin says:

Relax, it's satire, although sometimes it's hard to tell with the PA.

  10. Becky Risk says:

Those palistinians! They never pass up an opportunity to blame the Jews…even the weather! I thought whatever happened was supposed to be “Allah’s will” So why can’t they just accept, and stop casting blame?

  11. Lawrence Attard says:

    This Guy is just nuts

  12. if such prayers are so effective, who do I send the list of my 'needs' ?

  13. David Groen says:

If God were to answer all the prayers of the Jewish people they would have a lot more than snow to contend with. These are Roger Waters' buddies

  14. Talk about paranoia!!! Well at least they now have come to terms with the fact that the GOD of the Jews does hear prayers & does act ……… in His own time.

  15. Hahahaha,it is now Abbas has told the World that ISLAM has no link and connection to God.And too, that their ALLAH is just nothing but a mere wretched cursed demon.Waooo,it is quite unfortunate, sorry.

  16. Rain is stopping Peace talks? Who know Palestians melt in the rain? Now they tell us!

  17. Jeff Rosner says:

this is hilarious satire, some of the commenters are falling for it because the Paleo Nazis sometimes sound like this

  18. Cario Padilla says:

    Lol…it is funny!

  19. Mark Markovich says:

hhhhhhhhh It's real or invented this moment? Because I know that Abbas stupid and primitive but it's too much !! too much

  20. Ethan Perks says:

If we Jews have so much pull with G-d, why is he still standing?

  21. Barbara Leah Larson Shegitz says:

Islam is showing clearly it's fear of Jewish prayer and its true power.

  22. Gary Dalin says:

It's Purim now on the Muslim calendar, right?

  23. David Hersch says:

Now, how does one make peace with people (?) like this? Of course it is the Jews. Everything is the Jews and in his own stupid way, Abbas acknowledges that the G-d of Israel is THE G-d and all powerful, but of course we have been telling the world that for thousands of years, haven't we.

This report should have been saved for 1 April, but then Abbas is a fool the whole year, all 365 1/4 days of it.

  24. Abbas wait, that was the first plague!, there are nine more!, so better take your things and your people and go away from East Jerusamem, Judea and Samaria.

  25. Yechiel Baum says:

shows that Hashem does not want Kerry in his Jewish holy land.
and abbas admits to the Jewish power of prayer so that islam is weak paganism and Judaism is masterful!

  26. WOW! So the number one Palestinian dude admits that the Jewish god is more powerful than Allah. If the god of Moses can make things miserable for Israel's enemies, He one powerful entity. Hooray for our side. Christians and Jews can celebrate. We are number one and Allah is an also ran.

  27. John DeLancy says:

Hilarious! Especially because it is so likely that Abbas would say such things!

  28. Kirk Huxhold says:

    hahahaha what morons LMAO!!!!!!

  29. If a Moslem country proposed a resolution in the UN condemning Jewish prayer, the vote would be 120 for condemnation. The major problem is that Israel is the Jew of the world. Most of Islam would not only prefer that we not pray, but also prefer we not breath. As a psychiatrist,I would suggest treatment for Abbas with Haldol for paranoia.

  30. A few more snow storms and Mahmoud Mazen might convert :)

  31. Chaiya Eitan says:

Wait a second…..is this for real????

  32. Corey Multer says:

I think we should agree that we will stop bringing the storms when they clearly and unequivocally acknowledge Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state.

  33. ahmd el hail…ha ha ha damn this is good.. so funny…and idiot livni… wish it was true but its a great joke. probably true that abbas fears kabbalah and prayers are they are our power..he is such a half wit and says such dumb things regularly. if the western and israeli media would not whitewas his stupid words, no one would take him seriousy. the people the arabs dont they know he is a joke

  34. what is outrageous that abbas is a fool. every time he opens his mouth we know that…

  35. Anonymous says:

Please- Jewish Press- acknowledge if this is satire or a authentic report. Otherwise, your paper is being irresponsible.

  36. Benny Rowe says:

Must be… Even Abbas can't be that stupid.

  37. Basha Kline says:

Fanaticism and paranoia – a volatile combination – being this deranged all he needs is to see his football team lose to another "hand of Gd" and he will foam from the mouth…!

  38. a funny piece/ good joke never hurts///

  39. Louise Siebesma-Taylor says:

We'll at least we know now that they know the god of Israel answers prayer!!!

  40. I like the part where the article says: "Kerry was scheduled to meet with Kerry Thursday night,…" And that's the truth! He's trying to talk & we're not really interested in his solutions so he can talk to himself! [or do I mean talk to the wall?]

Cool. Our G-D is greater than the muslim god! I am surprised abas would admit such a thing………………go back to worshiping dagan or molech abas!

  42. It is wonderful to learn that Abbas believe in the G-d of Israel because the Jewish leaders certainly do NOT believe in G-d. They neither believe nor fear G-d. Instead they believe in putting their trust in corrupt leaders like Barak Hussein Obama. In this way our Jewish leaders bring about our own persecution at the hands of those criminals.

  43. Ian Ellul says:

~We're not praying enough seeing him and his cronies are still alive! :-)

  44. hmm, there is a typo in the article. just curious if others papers also reported this story?

  45. AC Stubbs says:

The first time I saw this I though it was on "The Onion"

  46. Evelyn Munoz says:

It was a Jewish bible before a Greek or any other , It is there fore stands to reason that all the others are a mere interpretation. Genesis does not tell of the Greek , Iranian, Mexican or another Messiah so were did we become confused?

  47. Evelyn Munoz says:

I thought whatever happened was supposed to be The will of Allah. Oh well thanks for the confidence GOD answers all prayers in due time HIS

  48. Paul Sheaf says:

This is the strangest article I have ever read, is Abbas about to disappear down a rabbit hole?
