Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

“We are not seeking nuclear weapons, so we’re not six months, six years, sixty years away from nuclear weapons,” Zarif added.

  1. Because Zarif listens to his public relations advisors doesn’t make the regime moderate. But he and the “president” are irrelevant. Iran is in the blood-thirsty hands of a radical Islamic dictatorship. It is a theocratic tyranny with the ayatollahs in charge. Elections are staged mainly for propaganda purposes. The office of “president” is merely ceremonial and foreign minister is meaningless. The Ayatollahs give the orders. Zarif is no more than a spokesman for the Ayatollahs. But no matter who was installed as “president,” or “foreign minister,” the regime will continue to violently oppress the Persian people, to be the major underwriter of terrorism around the Middle East and other parts of the world, and will race to acquire nuclear weapons in order to intimidate and possibly incinerate other nations. So whether you have Achmadinejad pounding his fists or Zarif romancing the press, nothing has changed except the window dressing.

  2. Action they says, speaks louder than voice.I will only believe these when the nuclear site has been dis-mantled,and decommissioned.Else,i would be taking their speeches as mere deceptive tales.

  3. What about the innocent people killed now in Syria, many says 120,000, others over 200,000 and 5mm refugees, and who is behind?, 10,000? Iranian Islamic Guards, so Iran has to face the reality and not allways blaming Israel about Palestina, for other side it is not to trust Obama/Rouhani policy.

  4. I saw the speech of the Iranian President the day he delivered from the UN. Full of fakery is the only adjective I can come up with! The rest of the World are so fooled by Iran, other than Russia, keeping her own Counsel, though Iran may be her client State, Russia is more devious. Russia can strike like a cobra, first hypnotizing her prey. Russia has a monumental problem with Muslims which she would like to be rid of. How long will Russia tolerate this? Chechniya is an even bigger problem and this chapter is not closed.
